So it has been awhile since I have worked at JanSport again. Let's say like 9 months. Well, no worries, I am back there for you Greggor. I absolutely did not want to go back to JanSport, but I couldn't find a job anywhere else so I went back. I turned in my app one day and a few hours later I got a call asking me to come in and get started on paperwork the next day. Two weeks later, I started. My first day I went in for orientation- why we have to do it every time we go back there is beyond me- but anyway. I went in and then after orientation they sent us home and said don't come back until MOnday, that was Thursday the 30th. So I go into work Monday and worked 7 hours, Tuesday worked 4 but got a phone call after i left to say don't come in. Wed worked a few hours then finally got to full 8 hour days. Well today and at least for the next week we are working overtime trying to get 60,000 some odd units (bags) processed and shipped asap. It's been crazy but in the end it will all be worth it. Hopefully this will be the last time I am employed for JanSport. Work isn't too bad thanks to having like 6 of my friends working with me.
Also on a side note, I went in Wednesday night after institute and had a "meeting" with the branch president for the hopes of getting my endowments out. I am just waiting to get the okay from stake president. I really hope that I get approved. It is something that has been on my mind and impressed in me for the last while. If not I guess I will just have to accept it and find the good in it. While at my meeting I was really frustrated with the branch president. He was talking to me like I knew absolutely nothing. But that is a whole other story. I'll keep you updated...

Graduation

I did it! I graduated college! Friday, April 10, 2009 I walked with 1,000 something other graduates. There was about a 100 in the education department. For graduation we had the opportunity to hear and learn from the newly called apostle Elder Anderson. He gave a wonderful talk on Wisdom. After commencement the education department also got the chance to hear from him and President Clarke at our commencement. It hasn't really sunk in yet that I graduated college. I don't think it will until the fall when I don't go back to Rexburg. All that I have left is my student teaching. I still don't have the exact placement but I do know that I will be in South Salt Lake somewhere. I just want mom and dad and my "idaho" family to know that I love them and am so glad that they were there with me to share this wonderful accomplishment with me. Thanks guys!

I will survive
I hope I can survive the next two weeks! It is going to be crazy. Next week I have big projects due one right after another and then the next week I have finals. Why can't my professors just choose one or the other! I mean, it's more work for them and obviously a lot more stress for us college students. I know that once I get through the next two weeks it will all be worth it! Graduation is in exactly 2 weeks. From this time today (about 3:30pm) I will be a college grad with student teaching left to do in the fall. I am so excited to be done and not have homework! Let's just hope I can get my school work done and everything else on my to do list!

One Step Closer
I am one step closer to graduating! I am so excited and wish it were tomorrow! Today I went to grad fest and picked up my cap, gown, tassel, and a bunch of other free stuff the Alumni Association gave us. I am even more excited about it now! I think the senioritis is kicking in big time, even worse than in high school. I am trying to stay focused and motivated but it's getting harder and harder everyday! April 10 here I am come! I am ready, excited, but scared all at the same time. I am going to have to face the real world and hopefully find a job very soon!

Student Teaching Update
I just found out that I won't get my placement until late July. I am bummed out about it but at least I know I am going to South Salt Lake and will be living in Murray with Aunt Carol. I am excited to be almost done. There are 5 weeks left of school and I am starting to lose motivation to do homework. But I keep truing to convince myself 5 weeks left, keep going! So we'll see. I walk on April 10 and then I am headed home until August, when student teaching starts. I hope I find out my placement before the end of July.

Where do I go?
Today I received part of my student teaching placement. I am going to South Salt Lake. I don't know what school, grade, or anything else yet, but I am quite ecstatic to be going to South Salt Lake. I will update about this when I get more info.

Ready, Set, Go!
School has been pretty good lately. Some weeks are busier than others, but that's to be expected. I have been in fifth grade and still loving it. I am having a hard time with the teacher. I don't really teach much and when I do, I feel like it's the boring stuff that she doesn't want to teach and that she doesn't want to give up the core curriculum things. However, I will have to teach them soon! I have observations to get done. Besides being at the school, I have applied for graduation and everything is set and good to go for me to walk in April but graduate in December. I am so excited and can't wait to get out of Rexburg and move on with my career. I don't know any more information about graduation except that it is April 10. I will keep updating as I know more.
